Hosted by Christ Church, the Canine Social and Summer Dog Fest is a day of free fun and festivities, and all sorts of goodies for pups and parents alike. And Buckeye DockDogs will be there, of course!
Anyone interested in the sport of dock jumping will be able to talk with Buckeye DockDog members and watch three demonstrations scheduled during the event when handlers show how experienced teams jump big. They’ll also help folks introduce their dogs to jumping into a pond (bring your dog’s favorite floatable toy and a towel).
So pack up your pooch and join in the all the fun: music, food, games, contests, dog hikes, dog wash, family photos, face painting, and demonstrations by Police K9 and Obedient Dogs. And stuff to buy from vendors too.
10:00 a.m. Kick-off Canine Parade (register @ 9:30 a.m.)
1:00 p.m. Pet Star Contest (canine tricks)
2:00 p.m. Look Alike Contest (dog + owner)
All canines must have up-to-date vaccinations and be on leads at all times!
