Anyone interested in the sport of Dock Jumping will be able to talk with enthusiastic Buckeye DockDog members when the club launches a spring membership drive on May 2, 2009 at the 12th Annual Regional Pet Adoptathon in Medina.

Presented by Michael E. Kovack, the Medina County Auditor, and the Medina County Animal Shelter, the Adopt-a-Thon will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Many pets, including dogs, cats and horses, will be available for adoption. Pet blessing and group photo will be held at 10:30 a.m. Fun activities are planned for the day; Ohio Pug Rescue will be selling food.
