1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Buckeye DockDogs Demonstration
Cleveland Metroparks Dog Paddle & More
Ledge Pool and Recreation Area
Hinckley Reservation, Hinckley OH

Jumping, flying, splashing Buckeye DockDogs will join the fun at the Ledge Pool & Recreation Area in the Hinckley Reservation, when club members demonstrate Dock Jumping during Dog Paddle & More, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Dog/handler teams will exhibit their different techniques for success in Big Air, the long jump equivalent for canine athletes in DockDog competitions. Those new to the sport can get tips from club members, and learn the benefits of joining Buckeye DockDogs, the Ohio chapter of the international organization DockDogs. Visitors can also bring their non-aggressive dogs to swim in the Ledge pool.
The cost of pool admission is a $3 donation per dog which benefits the local animal shelter and Medina County SPCA (they will be hosting a dog adoption on site).
There is a dog fair, too - featuring dog groomers, dog bakeries, pet therapy, an agility course by Medina Swarm, and more! Pets and their parents can enjoy a dog walk and Cleveland Metroparks K-9 Unit will be on hand with animal safety demonstrations.
Ledge Pool & Recreation Area is located at 1151 Ledge Road, between State and Kellogg roads in Hinckley Reservation in Hinckley Township, Ohio.
