Anyone interested in the sport of Dock Jumping will be able to talk with enthusiastic Buckeye DockDog members when the club holds a spring membership drive on Saturday, May 1, 2010. at the 13th Annual Regional Pet Adopt-a-Thon in Medina.
Presented by Michael E. Kovack, the Medina County Auditor, and the Medina County Animal Shelter, the Adopt-a-Thon will be feature approximately 50 organizations including rescues, shelters, and pet-related vendors. Many pets are adoptable that day—some require an application—dogs, cats, kittens, puppies, horses, and even skunks! A pet blessing will be held at 10:30 by Deacon Joe from St. Francis; bring your pet for the blessing! Food will be sold throughout the day.

FROM CLEVELAND AND COLUMBUS: Take I-71 to Route 18 West. Follow the signs for Route 18 through Downtown Medina. Take Rt. 42 (Lafayette Rd) South, the Armory is after Ryan Road/before Lake Road.
FROM AKRON: Take I-76 to Route 3 North. Turn left at Route 42 (Lafayette Rd) South, the Armory is after Ryan Road/before Lake Road.
